i had no idea physicists were so good with words. here are a few gems i stumbed on today:

erwin schrodinger (1887 – 1961), austrailian physicist

steven weinbert (b. 1933), u.s. theoretical physicist & nobel laureate

the effort to understand the universe is one of the very few things that lifts the human life a little above the level of farce and gives it some of the grace of tragedy.
