i finally updated my iphone

a little late, i know, but i finally decided up update my iphone last night. i’ve been hearing all kinds of horror stories of things gone wrong and bricked phones and slow phones, so i was reluctant to commit to v2.0, hoping v2.1 might be lurking right around the corner. then i made the mistake of taking a look at the itunes app store and i found things there that i absolutely had to have.

so, i made the decision to update. here’s a timeline of how it went:

not a single problem. start to finish took 24 minutes and now i’m blogging from my iphone.

My phone is dying and I still resist replacing it. It is uncharged half the time (well, the battery is dying, it is hard to keep it charged up!) and I’ve been known to check my messages only to realize they’re already a week old. I miss most calls (but manage to answer when it is bike shop boy!)….anyway, all that to say, I never really got why people would get excited about any phone, let alone a big expensive one like the iPhone. and then you said:

and that is just so cool. I get the mania now, at least a little! lol.

yes, the iphone has a great wordpress application. i now have the ability to blog from virtually anywhere. the possibilities are endless :)
