please return your tray tables to their upright and locked position

it’s here — 2009. a shiny new year, full of possibility, full of promise, waiting to be broken in and lived.

ready or not, here we go…

after a month of daily blogging, i’ve taken a bit of a break from writing, but please don’t mistake my absence for apathy. inspiration finds me in the strangest of places, and before long, the words will return.

I don’t think there would be too many people that think you’re apathetic after reading your entries.

thanks, colin.
it sounds like you’ve had it with blogging on myspace. any thoughts of moving to wordpress?

Probably not. I really would like to start my own web page sometime this year. I had one up briefly as a test run but took it down because I didn’t like what was running on the backend (Windows sharepoint – too advanced for what I wanted to do). I’m currently looking into using linux and the various programs available for it, possibly the wordpress version for linux servers. But, I start a new job either late this week or on Monday and would like to work on starting a new career in technical writing after this job is done. Part of this would entail having my own web page to showcase some technical writing but part of it would be trying to see what is out there.

That’s one of the things I like best about your blog, that you write when something inspires you. I also love how your posts inspire me!
