five | year two

first things first

(take the first line from the first post of each month and string them together)

[january] it’s here — 2009 — a shiny new year, full of possibility, full of promise, waiting to be broken in and lived.

[february] it’s amazing how much can be said in just six words.

[march] six inches of snow blanketed my part of the world on monday, and suddenly, everything was beautiful — soft and clean and white.

[april] i’m feeling a bit lost in my own freedom right now.

[may] my heart is broken; i said goodbye to my chloe yesterday.

[june] these words found their way to me today –  too good not to share, too wise not to resonate with something in us all.

[july] it’s time — tomorrow, i will be heading east, until i reach the shore.

[august] tori amos is playing the DAR constitution hall tonight.

[september] the words have been few and far between lately.

[october] last week, my sister and i drove out to a little coffee house in vienna, virginia to catch a night of music with charlotte martin.

[november] in a few days, i’m heading west to denver, the mile-high city.

[december] national blog posting month, or nablopomo, is a month long writing exercise that started in november of 2006.

That’s neat! I haven’t been blogging long enough to do that so I’m always excited by people that have been blogging for so long!
