beware the ides of march

thanks to mr. rosen and his 12th grade a.p. english literature class, i always think of a certain shakespearean tragedy on march 15th. in addition to supplying me with an abundance of random literature trivia, that class also allowed me to test out of six college credits worth of english, so i never had the pleasure of suffering through freshman english. for that, i am grateful.

mr. rosen wasn’t the only amazing teacher to cross my path. in fact, i’ve been blessed with a rather large group of sensational educators throughout my life. collectively, they don’t get nearly enough credit (or money) for the way they inspire and challenge and nurture. today, i tip my hat to them all. especially you, mr. rosen, on this, the ides of march.
